Irma Victims Helping Irma Victims!
The Florida State Firefighters Association needs your help, for the rescuers and the victims of hurricane Irma. Please bring all your donations to 3806 Tamiami Tr (Suite A) Port Charlotte, FL 33952. (Next to "Gatorz") every day from 9/"The day the adds hit"/2017 to 9/30/2017 from 10:00am - 7:00pm. You can also drop off donations at Bert's Black Widow Harley in Port Charlotte.
They are accepting:
-Water
-Canned Foods
-Any Non-perishable food items
-Toiletries
-Baby items, Diapers, Wipes and Formula -Gently used or new Clothing, Bedding and Shoes
We also need monetary donations to help in getting the supplies to their destinations, please go to www.fsfa.com and hit the donate button.
All donations are tax deductible, as we are a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Food and Water Distribution
September 18, 2017DeSoto County Emergency Management will be distributing food and water Monday only at the following location:
- Turner Center 2250 Roan Arcadia FL. Follow the traffic pattern to the front of the building where items will be distributed to your car directly. There is a lot of agencies opertating at the Turner Center. Follow traffic and do not interfere with operations. We will distribute 8AM- 8PM or until the supply is exhausted. Dog food and hay is available upon request.
We have shut down distribution at Nocatee Elementary School so they can get ready to reopen the school on Wednesday.
