Kelsea Ballerini hinted at a new project in the works.

The country-pop superstar shared a 30-second clip on TikTok set to “Days Like This” by Late Night Thoughts. The clip, filmed through a window, shows Ballerini joyfully dancing with a group of friends. Ballerini, 32, wrote in her caption that she’s “making a new album, new friends, and new memories in a new city. who woulda thought. 🥹” TikTokers commented that they love seeing the singer-songwriter so happy and “living your best life,” said “we need a tour,” predicted possible release dates and gushed that they’re “so ready for new music,” and more.

Ballerini hasn’t shared any other details about an upcoming album as of publication time on Thursday (July 2). New music from Ballerini will follow “Another Drink,” a collaboration with DJ and record producer Marshmello that arrived on June 26. Ballerini said in a statement that she’s “been a friend and fan of Marshmello's for years, and we've always wanted to find the right thing to work on together. This song came to life at the perfect time for us to combine our worlds for a fun, summertime jam. I hope it makes everyone cheers and dance.”

Ballerini’s latest full studio record is Patterns, a 15-track album that arrived in October 2024. Sh extended it into a 20-track deluxe edition in March 2025. Since then, the country hitmaker has also delivered Mount Pleasant, a 6-track EP that released in November 2025 with vulnerable ballads “I Sit In Parks,” “Emerald City” and more.

The “Love Me Like You Mean It” artist revealed she moved to New York City when she performed in the Evening with the Grand Ole Opry lineup at Carnegie Hall. Ballerini said at the time, “I just moved here. Ever since I was a little kid and I got to come here for the first time I always promised myself that I would do a season or a chapter of life in the city and that season and chapter is right now. I don’t know how long that’s gonna last, but I’m really loving it. …You can take the girl out of Nashville, but you can’t take the Nashville out of the girl.”

“I’m in love with it here,” Ballerini said during an appearance in on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle April. “I want to make my next record up here. But down the road, I don’t know. I really am loving it. It’s just such an alive place. It’s so creative. ...I’m loving this chapter of life just because I really feel like I’m being really intentional about connecting to myself,” she added later of her current chapter, including being single. “Also, being off the road right now, this is my first time not touring in a while, and being somewhere new and making new friends. I just haven’t had the time to invest in myself like that for a while.”
