The Full Story:

A Virginia man has donated his entire stimulus check to a complete stranger.Cameron Crockett works as an HVAC technician and says other people who’ve lost their jobs because of the coronavirus need the money more than he does. So he posted on Facebook asking people to write to him if they’re unemployed as a result of the pandemic and gave one randomly selected winner the $1,200.

Crockett says he could’ve used the money, but gave it away for two reasons. “One, people more deeply affected by the crisis need it more than me, plain and simple,” he explains. “And two, I want to show in my own little way that we the people are far greater than our representatives in Washington.”

In an update on Facebook, he reveals the lucky winner is Aries Ziegler.Crockett says he wishes he had the money to help everyone, but he’s happy to know his check went to “a good, genuine soul.”
