LANDSCAPING COMPANY MOWING LAWNS FOR FREE
For the last 11 years, a guy in Wichita, Kansas, known as "Spencer B" has been running a lawn care company. His company -- SB Mowing -- has been thriving. Spencer and his team maintain about 40 properties each week.
About a year ago, Spencer started to make it a point to do some good in the community. If he sees a lawn in bad shape, he knocks on the homeowner's door and offers to take care of the lawn for free.
That simple gesture of kindness has become a big deal, thanks to the power of social media.
For example, Spencer shared a story about helping Mark Edens, who happens to be a veteran who served 9 years in the Army.
People who saw the video on Spencer's YouTube channel stepped up and donated money.
After finishing the lawn, Spencer returned to surprise Mark with $10,000 in cash.
Spencer is able to take care of several lawns a week for free, although some of the more difficult jobs take several days to complete.
Spencer is definitely motivated to continue with this mission because he's able to restore dignity to those who might be down on their luck.
As he explains, "It makes them feel good about themselves, and where they live." (Fox News)
