Bartender Feeds Homeless Man Who Offered $2
The story of the Memphis bartender’s generosity is going viral.
A Facebook post about a Memphis bartender’s generosity toward a homeless man is going viral for all the right reasons. Dawn Witt shared that she was at Huey’s and witnessed the bartender, Beck, go above and beyond to feed a guy down on his luck.
Witt writes that a homeless man came in and said he was hungry, and asked Beck what he could get to eat with $2. Without hesitation, the bartender asked him what he’d like, if he wanted a burger and if he wanted fries or onion rings with it. He asked the man what he’d like to drink as well.
When the food came out, Witt says it was way more than he ordered and paid for. She praises Beck for “having a heart” and says seeing this act of kindness “made my heart smile.”
