Babies who can’t stay awake…cuteness factor 10 – time waste factor 10. We have a winner!

This kid is really upset about the referee's call!

This teen is so unselfish!  What a great kid!

A Michigan teen who just won $500,000 in an instant lottery game won’t be keeping most of his money. The anonymous 19-year-old tells state lottery officials he plans to invest $5,000 of his prize and then give the rest to his parents.

"My parents have done so much for my sister and me," he says in a lottery bureau release. "Helping them takes a big weight off of their shoulders and mine."

The teen says he initially thought people were playing a trick on him, “until I saw how excited they were about the ticket.” And we’re pretty sure his parents will be more excited when he shares the wealth.

An amazing story!  Proof that love and caring are still alive and well!

Sometimes, it really is the little things people do for us that make the biggest impact in our lives. A great example of this is from the students at Fremont Middle School in Fremont, Ohio. These young people went out of their way to comfort and show support to two of their classmates who lost their mother days before.

So what did the students do? They simply wrote uplifting, positive messages on Post-It notes and covered the grieving students’ lockers with them. This story was shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page and has gone viral since.

“The kids took the time to write uplifting messages of love, prayer and support to their sorrowful fellow Eagles,” the caption reads. “It’s moments like this that prove that FMS is the best school in the state for so many reasons. Our entire community mourns.”
