Uncoupling … According to new research, the last decade has seen an increase in the number of adults living without a spouse or partner. About 42% of Americans are "unpartnered" today, compared to 39% in 2007. And for adults under the age of 35 the number has jumped from 56% a decade ago to 61% today. The study also found that women were more likely to be unpartnered than men (43% vs. 40%). (Moneyish)
