Brooke Cooks: Tortellini Vegetable Soup Recipe


Alright, so I have to say everyone always raves about the recipes from Half Baked Harvest... and y'all... they're all so right. I tried her Tortellini Vegetable Soup recipe this weekend and as the kids say.. it SLAPS!

It was so easy to make in the crock pot and is going to become a staple in our house.

The only modification we did with ours was to add shredded chicken for a little extra protein and it was definitely a good choice. We also made beer bread with ours to sop up the ends in the bowl.

If you have never made beer bread before it's SO easy!

3 cups of self-rising flour

1/4 cup of sugar

1 12oz can of beer

mix it all together, put it in a greased loaf pan and top with 1/2 cup of melted butter the bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.. it's FIRE!
