Florida Native Who Interviewed Pres. Obama At 11 Has Died At 23

A man who famously interviewed President Obama when he was just eleven years old has died 12 years later.

Damon Weaver became the youngest person to conduct an interview with a sitting president when he asked Obama in 2009 about things like bullying and school lunches.

The Palm Beach County native said his dream was to be a journalist.

Weaver was pursuing a communications degree at a university in Georgia when his sister says he died this month at the age of 23 from what she calls natural causes.

The former president wasn't Weaver's only famous interview, he also conducted one with now-former Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade, Oprah Winfrey and President Joe Biden when he was a U.S. senator.
