One of the state's longest roads would be known as “President Donald J. Trump Highway,” if a Central Florida lawmaker has his way.
In a Twitter post State Rep. Anthony Sabatini says he'll sponsor an amendment in the upcoming session to rename U.S. 27, which runs from Miami to the Florida-Georgia line, in honor of "one of the greatest Presidents in American History."
It wouldn't be Florida's first highway renamed in honor of a President. Florida's Turnpike already pays tribute to Ronald Reagan as the Ronald Reagan Turnpike.
