Pregnant Woman Killed In Hit & Run, Fetus And Toddler Survive

The search is on for a hit and run driver who left a pregnant woman dead. Her fetus and a toddler remain in critical condition after the incident Tuesday in West Palm Beach.

Police say a minivan backed out of a driveway at a high speed, striking 34-year old Catarina Marcos and her 3-year old daughter Jessica Guzman, before taking off.

"I'm at a loss for words. This is one of those cases that kind of hit me a little bit, being a father of a young daughter. These children did not deserve this."

Investigator Daniel Dillard says they found the Honda Odyssey about five blocks away, with the license plate removed, but tracked down the name of the owner through the VIN number.

Police are looking for 39-year old Priscila Antonio. Dillard says she and Marcos knew each other.
