A Florida fisherman has a lot to brag about.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the man caught a Warsaw grouper weighing 350 pounds
The catch happened in the waters off Southwest Florida in about 600 feet of water last month.
Biologists with the FWC Research Institute estimate the fish is 50 years old.
While 350 pounds sure sounds like a huge fish, and it is, wildlife officials say Warsaw groupers can weigh up to 600 pounds and the largest ever caught in Florida weighed nearly 440 pounds.
