South Florida Muslims Send Relief Supplies To The Bahamas

More than two weeks after Hurricane Dorian devastates the Bahamas, supply drives are still being held across Florida. Florida Power and Light crews are donating relief supplies in Miami-Dade today. The South Florida Muslim Federation has been collecting relief items from 21 Mosques holding supply drives across the state. Spokesman Yunis Ismail says they're loading at least 25-thousand-dollars worth of supplies onto a shipping container from a Mosque in Margate that will then be sent to the Bahamas tomorrow. Mortuary facilities in the Bahamas report being ‘overwhelmed’ with bodies-even though the death toll is just at 50. Tens of thousands of people remain homeless.
