Study: Florida Ranks 40th In The Nation In Highway Performance

This may not surprise any Florida drivers. The sunshine state ranks 40th in the nation when it comes to traffic congestion, highway performance and cost-effectiveness in a new study by the Reason Foundation. Spokesman Baruch Feigenbaum says to improve the rating experts would need to figure out why the fatality rate is so high-and make improvements from there.North Dakota roadways fared best in the study, landing in the number #1 spot, New Jersey gets the dubious distinction of 50th place.
