Here's How to Help Victims of the California Wildfires

As the California wildfires continue to spread, there are a number of ways you can help the victims of the fires and those fighting to stop it.

1) Donate Money

The easiest way to help victims of the California forest fires, especially if you don't live nearby, is to donate money to local, regional, and national organizations helping with relief efforts. Here are some of those organizations:

2) Offer Shelter

If you do live in the immediate area, you can partner with Airbnb to donate a spare room for those who were forced to evacuate their homes. Both displaced neighbors and relief workers deployed to help with the fires will be able to find free accommodations until Nov. 29, 2018.

3) Help Rescue Animals

Many families are sadly forced to leave their beloved pets behind during the spread of wildfires, however,  the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation does their best to rescue as many animals from the fires as possible. You can help their efforts by donating.

4) Collect and Donate Non-Perishable Food Items

The Salvation Army Ventura Corps is providing food and shelter to those displaced during the wildfires, as well as to relief workers. You can collect and donate non-perishable food items to help them keep everybody fed.

We're keeping everybody affected by these fires in our thoughts. Stay safe.
