FEMA Opens Disaster Recovery Center In Palm Beach County

Federal officials with FEMA are available to south Floridians who are looking for help in bouncing back after Hurricane Irma.  

A disaster relief center (DRC) opened Wednesday at the Carolyn Sims Center at 223 NW 12th Ave. in Boynton Beach.  

Representatives will be on hand seven-days-a-week from 9:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night, until further notice.

To speed recovery, survivors are urged to register before visiting a DRC. 

To register, go online to www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. Phone lines are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
